Bauer&Cottrell full report on contract review?

    Hello,

I've just set up a limited company (after being with an umbrella company for ten months). I'm going direct to a client, and they are going to send me their draft contract this coming week (I suggested they use the PCG draft contract for direct service provider client contract, but they say it would take too long for the company lawyer to review it). I am going to get their draft contract reviewed with Bauer&Cottrell and can't decide whether to go for the summary report or the full report. Has anyone requested the full report from Bauer&Cottrell, and how detailed is it?

    ta.

What you pay B&C for IMHO is to negotiate changes in the contract, the review is a side benefit. For most cases I would guess that a summary would be OK unless you have specific concerns.

seriously though, if you are borderline on Ir 35 then it would do no harm to check out the long contract as well. Why not send it here to CUK and let them review it or the PCG themselves rather than fork out for a lawyer.

You cannot have too much information.
