Im in the process of negotiating a new contract position. I've never heard of them before. Has anyone else here done a contract for Elan? Are they any good?

Last time I worked through Elan you had to call a number to speak to a very pleasant accounts lady. Then, when she found out the client I was working for put me through to a project specific accounts department where a little snotnosed barrowboy dealt with (and usually fecked up) my invoicing and payments.
Oh yeah, I was running a couple of subbys as well and Elan's system couldn't cope with multiple contractors on one invoice (like a real business should be able to imho).
Horses for courses really...
Older and ...well, just older!!Comment

I have heard of Elan, been around for quite a while.I remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?Comment

Elan IT are on the PSL for one of the big consultancies. Never dealt with them directly myself though.Comment

I was through 'em a while back - no horror stories...The squint, the cocked eye and clenched first are the cornerstones of all Merseyside communication from birth to graveComment

I've worked with them, company is o.k, large and established.
My experience with them was quite good, but that was a coupe of years ago now. On the PSL of some major co's though so not likely to be too dodgy. Will ya have a cup of tea now there Fether?Comment

I know the guys who run ElanIT in Solihull very well so a bit biased, but they have been going for ages and are part of a much bigger group. I believe although don't quote me on this they have won awards within the industry for professionalism, but suspect they still have more than the odd rogue agent working amongst them... so as with all...take care.Comment

I am also talking to them at the moment...Originally posted by Dog_YoghurtIm in the process of negotiating a new contract position. I've never heard of them before. Has anyone else here done a contract for Elan? Are they any good?
