    Umbrellas!

    Hi Folks

Can some people give me some pointers on good umbrella companies.

I just signed up with Orange Genie but contract not due to start for another few weeks but found some things I am not happy about like having to send receipts every week for expenses thats the hassle I want to avoid so need someone who has proper dispensations in place to mean I just have to keep hold of the receipts. Also someone that has a decent rep, is reliable and does not charge too much a week or monthly (don't mind really).

Orange Genie were going to 4 week payrol and charge equivalent of £15 a week.

Thanks folks in advance, its reet doing my head in.

    Cheers

    Damo

You want to avoid the hassle of popping receipts into an envelope and posting them off occasionally?

        Go permie.

          Like it!
Less receipts to claim off - definitely an advantage - probably more paperwork for the claimable ones though

ContractorUmbrella don't generally require receipts - apart from fuel ones, to be sent to them. From personal experience efficient as well
Word of warning - if you send in your receipts to ANY COMPANY- do photocopy them first - so you have a copy in case it gets lost in the post.

Not an option and the position is quite good really and very very local so not real drive to go elsewhere presently.

I'm with OrangeGenie - they need to be sent receipts for fuel and business expenses only.

Subistence receipts don't need to be sent in.

I get paid weekly, but I only send expenses in monthly, they don't have a problem with that.
