    Contracting through ITARMI

    Hi All,
Anyone have any experience of contracting through ITARMI Itarmi – Business IT Support Platform
Any feedback good or bad appreciated. Do they pay on time and without issue?

    Thanks.

Never heard of them. I don't like their website.

Interesting that they do not present their company registration anywhere on the website (even though there are four Itarmi companies all registered at their address in Leatherhead, linked to the two people they feature) One them has a random South African as a director, which could be something or nothing.

Their data controller statement says they follow the ICO checklist but doesn't make reference to their registration. There is an Itarmi registered with the ICO but at a different postal address. It's most likely the same company as the dates line up with one of their many shells being incorporated.

For a company that appears to have been trading in some form or another for around 8 years, it's surprising they don't know what information they ought to present.

Before you sign anything, get a credit check run and don't extend any more credit than you're willing to lose.

Thanks ladymuck I hadn't heard of them either, the client they are looking to place with are a well known established Managed Service Provider. It would just be reassuring to hear from someone who has actually contracted through them. Any tips or recommendations on how best to get a credit check completed, I've never had to do that previously either.

The usual agency pack of lies. That website is selling their stable of ready-to-go engineers, not the reality of getting a job spec and hitting the market to find someone. Given that inherent dishonesty, I would walk away rather rapidly.

However, as Ladymuck rightly says, tread carefully and carry a big stick...
        Blog? What blog...?

Yes I worked through them a couple of years back. Was approached to complete a short-term software development role, which I think was unusual for them. I think they mostly supply network/hardware engineers.
I had no problem getting paid on time - DM me if need any further info
