Can anyone give recommendations for this? I have a mate looking at Holiday Safe but wants other options.

What sort of policy are they after? Annual multi-trip, single trip, including winter sports, etc?
Do they want global cover, or excluding countries like the US?
Are they likely to want to travel to countries that the FCDO recommend against travelling to?
All good questions. I think I know but I'll go back to confirm.

Not a recommendation as such, but I know QDOS offer business & personal travel insurance combined. Starts with basic European cover and then it's add-ons for worldwide cover, skiing, skydiving, etc.
I suppose the other question is what is the business vs personal requirement? Often you can take out a business travel insurance and it'll cover all the usual stuff plus personal travel, whereas a personal policy is unlikely to cover business
I use QDOS for business travel. Not as cheap as domestic insurance mind.
Having said that. In the past, I got robbed in a hotel in Paris, on business, and my domestic travel insurance (AXA provided by COOP bank) paid up just fine.
