Should I pull out of contract?

No need to do that. Let them drag it out, enjoy three months at the other place then start the SC gig. Don't ever tell agents or clients more than you have to.The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist -
I got similar now. Got offered a gig Dec 23rd. Told them there may be a problem with my SC (see my other thread) and best get the ball rolling asap.
No problem said client, start jan 4th. Hmmm I doubt it.
So over xmas no response from agent or client re: clearance. Not until Jan 5th did anyone bother contacting me.
Now without warning, agency have send me the contract and said start date of 31st Jan because "clearance takes time?"
No tulip. We'd be 2-3 weeks ahead if someone had realised this before xmas.
Seriously, considering a non-SC gig rather than wait another 3 weeks.....Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
