Just been tapped up by an agent about a 3 week gig in Dubai with a Financial organization. Always fancied going there, anyone got any experience of working out there?

I'venot been but I'm going over for a holiday in April, my sister is living there. Do you mind me asking what you do? I'm interested in working out there but i'm not sure what skills etc. they are looking for......... -
I do mostly Information Security, Risk Management, Governance and Audit related work. No idea if there is a real market for this out there apart from this one gig."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

Not sure about this, but I seem to remember a friend telling me that it is difficult getting the money out of the country.
Get all payments made to a bank outside Dubai.
This may be rubbish, I have known a few people contracting in the middle east over the years and one story blends into another so it may have been Oman UAE or Bahrain or anywhere.I am not qualified to give the above advice!
