    Fairly New To Contracting

    Hello Everyone,

It's my first time posting on here!

I've been contracting about 3 years now and am now only just finding it difficult to get the next contract.

I'm an ITIL qualified change manager and agencies etc keep saying "...with your skill set...not a problem".

Does anyone find it generally difficult to find contracts at the beginning of the calendar year? This is the first time I've been a free agent over the festive period...

I've not worked since December. But in my line (logistics) most projects get done from March - August in time for christmas.

Speaking to rec agents (I also do change management but not in it) they have kept saying that they havent known it to be as quiet as this in a long time.

Keep plugging away and you'll find something.

If you are and are any good, shouldn't be a problem. There's half a dozen down here right now. Snag is, you either need clearance or to have worked in finance all your life...

If you makes you feel better, I've been resting since June last year, although I only really started to look again in December.
            Blog? What blog...?

Sock. You pack Santas sleigh. No work for you until later in the year.

              Ho ho ho.
