I spoke to a debt recovery agency and they said I am pretty much screwed for the money unless the company pays the agency. They said I just need to play the waiting game and see what happens. This is because the agency have covered themselves in the contract. I haven't spoken to an actual solicitor yet though so may hold off for a few weeks and see if any money has been paid in.

And it's IRISH jurisdiction..... not England and Wales......

Maybe you should give up arguing and accept your error.

that's county court. There is more than one court.
