    Hi

    Ive noticed the UK contract market has a 5 year employment history check with bank statements, where else in Europe or the Rest of the world is 2 years still standard?

        Never been asked for any checks for any contract in Europe, wouldn't know about the UK as I don't apply for contracts there anymore due to (a) rates being a bit naff and (b) reading these horror stories about all these checks...oh and (c) probably wouldn't get one due to not being resident in the UK anyway. I do projects in the UK but via a USA company as an external consultant :-)
