    Employer Insolvency Question

I have a question regarding Employer insolvency. What are the legal implications of the Employer going into administration and enticing the Contractor to become a main partner when a new company is reinstated?

Further to this, what are the Contract Administrator's duties in this situation? If the Employer instructs the QA to cancel the monthly Valuation, can the Contract administrator do anything about it?

    This is a hypothetical scenario.

    The JCT SBC16 was used.

Thanks for your input, just a complex scenario and was looking for some insight/experience. Thanks!

I have no idea - this is a contractor’s forum, not a corporate lawyer’s forum.

And a UK one at that.

You do know that, don’t you?

Ok, I get it now. This is an IT contractors forum. You need an architect/construction forum, next door on the right...
