    IR35 and conference attendance

Hi, i've been asked to attend a conference by my client (they have agreed to pay), as it will directly assist the project/assignment i'm working on.

Does this have any IR35 implications?

I've read that things like team building and training DOES have implications (albeit small), and a conference could be considered similar to training.

    Thanks

You'll be fine. If it was a general meeting about the client performance and future that is to communicate to permies it might be a problem. If it's directly related to the work you are doing then you need to be there so is fine.
