    Hi folks!

Just registered and thought i'd say hi!

Currently a permie, SQL Server Database/Data Warehouse/BI development and seriously thinking about contracting.

Going to spend some time lurking to get a feel for the whole game and hopefully start looking for a 'gig' (wow, picking up the lingo already) in the new year when i imagine there'll be a few more roles available.

    Cheers,
    Leigh

Or else you might get a £500 bigger bonus than you were expecting, a hush-hush chat about possible promotion, and decide to stay for just one more year.

& I thought the women on this board were posting banal crap... now we have permies joining in as well.
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

I wouldn't bother tbh. The place is going downhill fast. You'd be better of over at Shout99 or, Gods help you, the PCG forums than here at the moment.
