    Two adverts, diff locale...bogus?

Same title, same pimp/contract they are almost word for word same advert just different locations.

Bogus? Just CV harvesting? Getting fed up with pimps putting out non existent gigs, (yes Nigel Frank, you are one of the worst) maybe just me but it never used to be like this.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Rate either "market rate" or £50-100/day above average to get you interested?

Apparently the market isn't good but they don't do themselves any favours.

Sometimes, just sometimes, you have a choice of location to work from.
It may be they created two to catch searches for both locations.

However, it could be a load of BS and a CV fishing exercise

Rate is not mentioned but theres the 6 months / start ASAP hook that is dangled. I sent my CV to one of them but not expecting a call back, but I may mention the "other gig" if I do, be interesting to see what pimp has to say about that?

Ah mondays on the bench, don't ya just love 'em?

          Yes.

          Also RocSearch.

They will phone with the perfect role and after 30 minutes of building your hopes they do the I need 2 references thing before they can submit your CV.

I always ask for the client name and role spec these days because I want to make sure that my cv is as good a fit as possible to the role. If that's not forthcoming, then there's no gig on offer and they can go whistle rather than me giving the name of the last two agencies that engaged me in contracts

If the contract was real and there were two locations it would be on the same advert.

Generally yes, but I have seen both methods....not usually on Jobserve as its around £300 per ad.

If this really is the case, how do companies like Noir Consulting stay in business. I'm sure not all their adverts are fake roles, but it appears that they've had the same batch of generic jobs, repeated weekly for at least the last couple of years ...

Obviously, you must get a discount for a certain amount of ads.
I know to place a singular ad is around the £300 mark.
