Out of interest FLC - how long you been contracting/working in IT? Not wanting to wave my willy like

But I'm sure some of you are picturing me as mid-20s or something with a few GCSEs..... I might still retain my youthful good looks and be a bit of a stunner but I've been around a while.

The solution is to get out either early to a nice long private sector gig or get out permanently (either by going permie or by going further up the market).

My core skill set is also about to have major structural changes (instead of being a sideline of Microsoft, Dynamics is about to become a central part of office 365). As such I'm using it as the perfect opportunity to become a software house - consultancy will be a sideline and I'm actually planning to train the consultancies in selling the add-ons we create....

The advantage of doing that is that I can create a less complete solution and train people to implement / sell it while creating an even more expensive easier to use system later....
I must have missed that. Maybe you should mention it more often, just in case anyone else has missed it as well.

Yeah, sure I've seen you mention that you're in your mid-to-late forties. Must admit, I thought you were much, much younger than that.
