One thing is bothering me, why comrade Starmer, being Marxist (according to above) not used Marxian definition of "worker" the other day? Marx had no trouble defining who workers are.

Yeah we've had the internet for over 20 years now, and its a crap experience for certain things for instance buying clothes and shoes. So how does that account for the loss of much of the high street in the last year or two?

We don't have democracy here. That's quite obvious.
That was 37 years ago! Nothing he has done since being elected has remotely suggested being a Communist.

You might prefer the in store experience but a majority of people don't, hence physical shops are in decline.

Please provide evidence that the 2020 Presidential Election wasn't a fair result because so far no one else has.

The Democrats are now left hoping the Polls are underestimating Harris support by 3%. And she is really 3% ahead of Trump and the polls just are not showing it.
The swing state polling is still quite tight, although admittedly going in Trump's direction of late.

It took a long time but the post office scandal eventually exposed dodgy software. Let's be honest here, they STOLE the election. Thankfully it's coming back home.

Yes I get that some jump from 3-6month contract to another 3-6month contract, but I'd still class this as temp "employment" (where all the perks are simply converted into cash). Now I'll get my coat and bugger off before I get eaten alive...
Careful with that though. The analogy falls down once you start talking about trades persons. A two story house extension might take 3 months to build. Does that make your builder your employee as they're working full time on it?

The trouble is, the trades and anything done sat at a desk are considered to be worlds apart. Any office based work seems to be thought of as entirely interchangeable with getting a temp in from Office Angels but doing a trade is somehow different. Yet you might have more control over the builder - through specifying a neo-Georgian frontage with Gothic style window frames and mirrored glazing - than you would over an office worker who just needs to take minutes and type them up.

There's no easy answer and everyone will have a view that suits them the best.

Conspiratorial nonsense that no one has produced a shred of evidence in favour of of.

Trump lost in 2020. End of.

So, when Bush won the 2000 election and Gore went around moaning that his victory was stolen it was alright?

You haven't produced any evidence to confirm this allegation, and there's plenty of evidence to the contrary. All states and districts where fraud was alleged were investigated and audited and the allegations were proven to be unfounded. There have been a number of court cases where the plaintiff has claimed voter fraud or rigged elections, all have been dismissed or found not proven.

I suppose it's convenient for you to choose to ignore these facts and stick to your own partisan view; to do otherwise would be to admit you might be mistaken.

Is this forum still moderated? This thread seems full of off-topic partisan bickering which I thought was supposed to go in general?
