Out of interest, how do you arrive at that conclusion? (both parts)

We have a couple of established practices at our brands doing steady business in this area.

Embedded SW market down here (central south coast) is absolute pants atm : total dearth of real prospects coupled with agents calling with nothing to say but "what's your rate, what's your rate, what's your rate,...", "jobs" offered at rates of £150 pd or £30 ph, junior "consultants" in their first week at work asking "why do you think you haven't got work in the last few months?" etc etc etc endlessly, nauseatingly on...

So as I say, the embedded market is total pants these days and god only knows when it will improve.

Through personal experience of the market over the last 12 months, I found things so much easier around 2011-13.

I started this thread and greatful I've been in work the last six months.

Plus I've been extended until June this year.
So I'd like to stick my two fingers up to those who who thought I'm a failure. Up yours! :-)

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
