    ParityProfessionals vs CodeIT vs ColstonConsulting

Guys, I have agents ringing me left, right and centre and all for the same role.

What's your take on these 3 agencies:

    ParityProfessionals - Parity Professionals
    CodeIT - codeitgroup.com
    ColstonConsulting - colstonconsulting.co.uk

I searched on the forum and found plenty of threads about Parity (they were known a Parity Resources earlier) - and I have to say the feedback about them isn't very good looking at variuos threads. Issues like no exit clause, VAT issues, and unreasonable terms in the contract.

CodeIT - I could not find and info on them.

Colston Consulting - They are based in Bristol, but again could not find any info/feedback on them either.

    Any feedback will be helpful.

TBH, I have no idea. Is there a way to find out? I will jump onto client's website and see if they have any PSL list there.

Regarding, Parity Professionals (formerly Parity Resources). I am not sure if they still use the tactics which other members have discussed (some of those threads are from 2008-09)

Edit: Just checked, there is no PSL info client's website either

Are they all willing to put you forward at the same rate? Out of the people who gave you the most confidence they knew what they were doing? Have you checked their companies to see how much cash they have behind them. I'd be erring towards parity even if they did dick about with payments as my guess it's their are least likely to go bump.

Parity looks like the option to go with, but judging by their feedback I will have to spend a lot of effort in getting the contract right.

The max advertised rate by all of them is £500 and Parity won't budge. The interesting part is that another agent agreed to put me forward for higher (without the usual fuss).

Would be good to hear if anyone else here has experience working with any of these agencies:

            Parity Professionals
            CodeIT Group
            Colston Consulting

            Cheers!!

Worked via codeit for a recent contract over a 2 year engagement. Found them to be good, happy to make contract ammendments following review and always paid on time. They had about 20 bodies across the end client at the time.

I've just finished a 4 year contract using Code IT. Nice people, always paid on time, never had a problem. Think they are on the PSL for Bank of England & FCA.
