    role in dubai

    hi guys,

I have been offered a position is dubai for 28K AED per month which includes housing (not separately). My rate in UK is about 350 per day. how will this equate to the role in Dubai?
Should I take this offer? Will it improve my CV going to dubai even if the money is bit less, maybe i can stay there for 6 months and then come back to UK.

Just looking for some guidance. I work in IT.

Its in Dubai......have you any commitments in the UK? Wife? kids? If not then I'd jump at the chance, don't worry about the money.....enjoy the experience and think that you can pocket most of the UAE rate with little expense.

If a single man with no commitments take it - if not don't.

Also it's freakishly hot all the time and sand gets everywhere....

Yes it will improve your CV.

        Working abroad generally does.

However make sure you have enough money to spend on socialising and try to extend your social circle while out there to include non-Brits.

+2. I've worked out in Dubai and it's quite an experience. The place, the culture, the bloody heat!!! Gotta be something you try once if you get the chance.

got a wife and one kid, she works here in UK, will that salary be enough for three, I am hoping to there for 6 months then shift to another company or come back to UK. Or maybe I will go myself alone to dubai and check it out...

Only u can answer that, but you'll be taxed in UK on it despite any tax free promises since you are still domiciled in UK.
