Actually you're all mistaken EE calls over WIFI come off your minutes allowance, form an orderly queue with your apologies...Originally posted by pr1 View Postof course, in the same way that skype calls use up your minutes and whatsapp uses your texts

"It doesn't cost any extra as such, but making calls over Wi-Fi will come out of your regular minutes allowance on EE. If you're running out of minutes, then using services like Skype or Google Hangouts will help you to avoid incurring any additional charges."Comment

burning my comment twice wont get you two apologies
you can have one
sorry, I was wrong to have mocked you, you were right to ask the question and we have both come out of this wiser
edit: now we know that EE do take wifi calling out of your minutes, if you've got an iPhone, and you're on wifi, you should use facetime audio (if your recipient doesn't have an iphone you should buy them one)
edit2: now i've read the EE website, wifi calling is only for android/windows phones anyway, probably because they know facetime audio already exists for iphoneLast edited by pr1; 25 September 2015, 11:03.Comment

EEeee
I moved over to EE from Vodafone recently.
Having fairly significant problems with reception. I discussed the wifi calling thing with them, but was told you have to buy the mobile from them to use it - bought mine separately. Something to do with their software being on their phones.
Anyway, if it doesn't improve I might go back to Vodafone - their service was pretty good and coverage was fine.
Don't really fancy 3 as their coverage outside London looks patchy.Comment
