Unrealistic at £450, but this is the market today. Also unrealistic from the point of view of keeping your performance levels up, but who gives **** about that.Comment

Most of the calls I am getting are from indian agents for contracts with TCS, Infosys, Wipro to be placed at client sites who are major banks and other blue chip companies at the rate of £250-300. It seems even UK recruitment agencies have been outsourced.Comment

BTW. It's hilarious when the agent cannot speak English, sends you a job spec that's a generic 4-line copy & paste job, and the guy who interviews you cannot operate the phone, keeps dropping the line, and cannot speak English. You're awesome! Get yourself a t-shirt.Comment

You could also use this time to study IR35 legislation and how negotiating a decent contract and working practices can stop the taxman from bending you over a few years down the line....Have you tried switching it off and back on again??Comment

calling 6 times a day, each time a different person, asking you to still lower the rates further.
btw they have this concept of "anytime" interview,
no specific time for interview but someone will call for telephone interview either today or tomorrow anytime.
I hope they FOAD.Comment
