The bottom line is there is no right or wrong answer to whether to apply via multiple agencies or not. It's all part of the business trying to read between the lines. If you think an agency is stringing you along then apply through multiple, if not, trust the agent you're dealing with and hope you get an interview.

The most important thing is stay positive and keep applying for roles until you get one.

Doesn't matter how many agencies you apply through. As long as you play your game well and don't p1ss the client off.

The key thing for me is representation versus the agent being on the PSL. If they're not on the PSL, I'm not having a chancer represent me unless they're the only one who has contacted me.

How do you find out if they are?

              Ring the client!

Hello, wonder if you could help me, I've been approached by 3 agents about an open role with you. Please could you advise which agents are on your PSL so that I have a better chance of my cv reaching you?

Gives you the PSL and occasionally a tick in the plus column to show interest in working for them (applies more to permies though).

Not trolling, just recruiters wind me up something fierce with their endless list of shady practices.

I want to look out for #1 as does OP and most OPs on this forum

You wont find me calling up to find out who is on the PSL.
