1st post so be gentle...
I've been working 20 years, contracting for 5 of those. most of that has been Investment banking IT/Operations/Market Data/PM etc...
Recently Ive been working on regulatory projects, most recently BCBS 239.
At some point this contract will come to an end but projects with a risk managment/regulatory driver seem to be relatively plentiful and lucrative at present. The challange here is my CV is still heavily biased to my past and my true risk managment background is limited so Im considering training to;
With this in mind does anybody have a view on the CISI training and its value to more mature people. Specifically should I be looking at any other options in preference ?

- Improve my skills to support the placement and interview process
- Make my CV look more attractive and viable
- Generally self study something and do no harm to my IR35 status in process.
With this in mind does anybody have a view on the CISI training and its value to more mature people. Specifically should I be looking at any other options in preference ?
