Value of CISI training ?

With this in mind does anybody have a view on the CISI training and its value to more mature people. Specifically should I be looking at any other options in preference ?

I am not sure about above (they have been around for a while). However I know that my bank before FCA registration (it was actually FSA when I did it and was a permi) made everyone do the Derivatives and Securities, as well as regs exams from them (not the training). They were pretty much like the MS exams I did years before. Multi guess , mostly trying to catch you out on language rather than knowledge and I forgot most of it 5 mins after the exam, although it seems not as much as the compliance dept forgot. Regurgitation at it's best.

Appologies for a well structured post, I guess that comes from sub contracting through a top 5 consultancy and having run a forum or 2.

I'll ensure I refer to MILF's and accuse people of being Hitler in future.

That was my thinking... I underpinned my early CV with MCSE/RHES/PMI/ITIL etc.. partly to learn and partly to put something in my education section as my formal education just surpassed Rodney's GCE in metal work.

I guess the question is, is there anything else like this that anybody recommends. If not I'll probably take a few of them if I get time.
