aircon..may be there in some Central London glass houses, but not sure in most of business parks outside London. Heaters will be there but aircon may not or I might not have noticed it..

If this a business park, and a normal company, I would have thought you could be more relaxed. Would still put a tie on just before you go in though. You only need to put your jacket on when you're in reception, and the manager is coming down the stairs.

My missus collapsed on the street yesterday morning and I received a call from the paramedics as she was still inadequate, two hours later I had F2F interview, f...k it I said and went in jeans and short sleeve T-Shirt.

Interviewer was not bothered at all(however, I apologized for my appearance), it all went very well.

If it is a big company, posh office and more than 1 interviewer I always wear suit and tie, if they are small or/and it is 2nd-3rd interview I go smart casual.

At the end of the day, IMHO dress code matters only if you work for the zombie bunch in IB, Canary Wharf etc.

I wish your missus a speedy recovery.

            That's a little mean.

I never wear a tie for interviews anyway, and as soon as they sit me down the jacket comes off too. Then if there' any coding to do the sleeves get rolled up.

Anyone tried different dress code for interviews recently? How the client responded..?

                thanks
No change for me - Suit, tie, top hat, long jacket and my walking stick together with briefcase.

Same here though I've had interviews at trendy graphics studios where I've not only felt overdressed but sensed a slight antipathy towards the square guy in the suit.

This time 2 years ago when I was last looking was pretty warm. I had a couple of interviews but just wore shirt and tie (and rolled up my sleeves) with suit trousers.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
