              Monster is absolute rubbish, they sell your details to anyone who pays a few pence and after they were hacked a couple of years ago scammers trashed my inbox, so I had to set up another email account for contract searches

                  As mentioned here it's geared towards perm roles but does generate more interest than the other boards IME.

                  Funny, 'cos those first two rank top for me based on no. of cold calls.

                  As to which generate quality leads that could or do convert into real contracts, that's hard to quantify.
