    Did you actually ask them where they got your details before jumping to the assumption this was a result of a CV harvest? You on LinkedIn, your CVS available on jobserve, you are already on their system from historical genuine engagement?

        Not accusing you or your firm of anything but do your agency bodies publish lists of miscreants.....No. Not any I have easily seen. Yet candidates can still be 'reassured' by the logos of said 'professional' bodies appearing on (discredited) agency stationery.... Not very good policing, is it?

        And I understand the burden Andy, but sorting out errant staff after you have been informed of their misdemeanours is not quite the same as preventing it in the first place. Please don't say it is difficult to maintain your high standards because of the large numbers of employees you have.

        It is because of your assurance of the highest standards that we approach you. It is no consolation to you know you have slapped wrists after we have suffered worse.

        That said, like everybody else here, I welcome your forthright input. Thanks.

          You are aware that you can easily record all your calls on your mobile phone if it's a smartphone?

          That way if you talk to any individual or company who you may have or do have an issue with you have a record of their call. Obviously how you use the recording depends on the circumstances of the issue....
