Rely on your accountant, that's why you have one (& common sense if possible) not a bunch of random armchair advisers/critics on here who, at times, are far too quick to pull the trigger on the uninitiated. They're generally a nice, knowledgeable bunch, but at times some of them show their teeth.
If my accountant gave me advice such as:

which clearly contradicts the HMRC guidelines, I'd be firing them not relying on them. Each to their own, but having a business phone is one of the clearest things in the HMRC manuals, and the accountant is talking about having to keep personal calls to a minimum, in direct contradiction to the explicit HMRC rules

I was encouraged by most people on here to not start contracting. I've now had 3 years of successful contract on more money than I've ever been on so I take everything on this forum with a pinch of salt.

Kindly define a "successful contract" for us mere mortals.

Don't forget the receipts for salt.

How come you haven't learned how to use the search function then yet? Business phones have been done to death and the advice is always exactly the same.

I am and proud of it, why neglect one of my few skills?

The rest of the posters here who are slating you are just tired of seeing the same old questions, being trotted out in the same format by people who then don't read the responses and/or try to argue that the wisdom they sought is wrong.

Isn't grumpiness reallly just indicative of of a personal problem?
