I'm guessing he lives in centralish London where parking is impossible. And the £1800 is the annual cost of a parking space in a local garage...merely at clientco for the entertainment -
ZipCar is a short-term rental - Car Sharing, an alternative to car rental and car ownershipOriginally posted by Project Monkey View PostWTF is a zipcar and park your car on you drive/in your garage FFS!
They park different cars around the world, and when you need one you just pay online / over the phone and pick it up from the parking bay and go.
Rates start at £6 an hour, so if you only need it for a short time it works out pretty good value.Comment

Depends on the money on offer. London rates covers the monetary expense of living away but not the PITA factor.
More than an hour commute each way, I'd look to stay away from home a night or two a week.
Currently 10 min drive away from home!Comment
