There are reasons client side similar to spartan. Long story.

    But I won't be back.

Would still like to leave with some agreement.

Btw. Weekly invoice so just this week and next week to worry about.

He's also been here more than long enough to have seen plenty of threads about this. Just him being indecisive again and wanting a forum of strangers to do it for him.
      So cyni...... oh wait!

if it *has* to be a start in 1 week the new contract might be pretty unpleasant too. if the new contract wants you bad enough they will wait 4 weeks. if so, it's notice time. if not it's not. cor! brevity. it's the new me.

I really don't understand why you've posted this PC. I just read it as "I've got some stuff here and there's potentially some better stuff over there so would you, you know, leave your current stuff and go and get the other stuff"

How much crap will you leaving (and breaching your contract) end up screwing the client?

                a) You'd not deliver what you were supposed to and now a multi million pound project will be delayed
                b) They'd be short on critical resource for a few weeks
                c) The dept would miss some SLAs/KPIs but nothing serious
                d) They have to make their own tea and coffee

                    Possibly a red flag.

Did the client stress this at interview, or is it the agent now you've been offered, desperate to make sure you take it.

Not necessarily, could be a client that had been stitched by PCs doppelganger, who left them with no notice and now they are in a hurry to get someone on board.

In any case unpleasant contracts seem to be PCs specialty, so hardly a problem.
