IPSE Contract Review - How much?!

Oh, and there does seem to be some discrepancy in the pricing on the two pages, i.e. £160 for a non-IPSE member via IPSE, versus £185 via the Abbey Tax website. Odd because they've updated the name to IPSE on the Abbey Tax website, so I guess the page was updated relatively recently. -
Yes, you get it cheaper coming through IPSE: why is that a surprise given that IPSE will aim to provide a steady pipeline of work for no effort? Same logic as LIDL being cheaper than your local farm shop.Originally posted by jamesbrown View PostOh, and there does seem to be some discrepancy in the pricing on the two pages, i.e. £160 for a non-IPSE member via IPSE, versus £185 via the Abbey Tax website. Ditto with their sister company, Accountax.Originally posted by jamesbrown View PostI expect this will be completed via AbbeyTax:
IR35
For what it's worth, I've solicited IR35/legal reviews from several of companies in the past and AbbeyTax do provide a first rate review, much more detailed than some other well-known companies that offer an equivalent "in-depth" review IMHO...Comment

Nope, I don't think it's particularly sensible to have two sets of IPSE prices depending on the port of entry. LIDL aren't selling professional services. But, whatever. I know that Abbey Tax provide a good service and that's really all I care about in this context.Originally posted by malvolio View PostYes, you get it cheaper coming through IPSE: why is that a surprise given that IPSE will aim to provide a steady pipeline of work for no effort? I have to say I was surprised at the cost. I use Bauer & Cottrell Contractor Guardian. Unlimited reviews for £199+VAT or £299+VAT and they negotiate....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Why not, the IPSE offering is on a per contract basis, and is £340 + VAT per contract if you want a 24 hour turnaround time.Originally posted by The Spartan View PostReally PC?
