FWIW, i'm currently on an hours daily trip one way. Most other stuff has been a couple of hours away on a weekly trip.Comment

I walk up the stairs to my office. Plus a trip to London from the midlands once or twice a month.Comment

Last couple have been:- fly half-way across UK, then walk 1-2 miles to the office,
Next one (touch wood) is a 15 mile drive from home.Comment

Varies a lot depending where I am, but unless it's literally a one off meeting I keep my commutes under 1.5 hours. Any more than that and I'll stay over - spent last week doing 90 minutes each way to Manchester and was pretty bored of it by the end!Comment

Currently a 25 minute walk to work. Must be noted this is a bit of an exception to me as generally two hour train trips seem to be the norm.Comment

Enormously variable to me, I've had some gigs where I worked from home, my last few have been a case of drive 250+ miles to accommodation every week or two then a few mins stroll or drive to site.
I expect this to be the same for the gig I've just accepted although it looks likely that there may be a few days at home per week.Comment
