Indeed. Unfortunately the last few times Labour have been in power they've ****ed up big style.

The difference between Labour and Conservative is not that Labour increase deficits, history shows they don't, not any more than the Conservatives. That is simply a myth. The difference is they raise taxes and spend more because they raise more in tax.

You can't keep Labour out forever, they will be in again and if Boris screws up, which is what it looks like, a Labour government will be voted in so raising taxes even more than they would do if the economy were to be booming.

In other words Tory voters will be footing the bill for their own mistakes sooner or later.

No, all we’ve agreed is that you can’t keep a coherent argument, and that you can’t provide any substance to what little argument you might have.

What is interesting is that the biggest surpluses were under a Labour government, which is not surprising as they raise taxes as they did in 1997.
