Always best to err on the side of normal stupidity.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostWell, he claims he has B1 German. Another fantasy I guess.
Be fair, it's extremely hard to tell the difference between your normal stupidity and when you're putting it on.Comment

I work with a Scottish chap with a very pronounced Scottish accent. So pronounced it makes him more understandable than most of the English.Originally posted by clearedforlanding View PostNah, one of them is Scottish.
To be fair, hardly any English here. Its awesome working with some many people from round the globe who love London and the UK.
In fact, most say the only negative is working with me....Comment

Exciting times. DUP telling Boris to FO over regulatory alignment with the E.U. Customs points away form the border for the UK the e.u. will have to make a decision on how to enforce a no deal border.
Unless of course Boris is forced to extended and he goes back to parliament asking to be sacked as he can't deliver what he promised and parliament know this so will also tell him to FO for the entire term of the next parliament.Make Mercia Great Again!Comment

The solution is fairly simple. Freeports in the U.K.Originally posted by BlueSharp View PostExciting times. DUP telling Boris to FO over regulatory alignment with the E.U. Customs points away form the border for the UK the e.u. will have to make a decision on how to enforce a no deal border.

According to HMG, the technology at the border within GB will be seamless and invisible. The freeports in GB will be aligned with the EU. NI would be aligned with the GB freeports, which is technically also aligned with the EU but for political purposes NI is aligned with the ports in GB.
No border required on the island of Ireland.

Why not put the Scottish Port region as being the whole of Scotland and the Welsh Port region being the whole of Wales.
Then UKBF/Customs only apply when travelling in/out of England, while the other regions could enjoy freedom of movement of people, goods and services with the country’s biggest supplier, biggest customer and biggest tourist destination.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

The old man will be looking for opportunities to earn hard currency in the Liverpool dockside area, but the economic situation will bring in a lot of amateur competition driving down prices.Originally posted by WTFH View PostWhy not put the Scottish Port region as being the whole of Scotland and the Welsh Port region being the whole of Wales.
