Yeah.... usually, when people request payment in $ or € to protect themselves against currency fluctuation, they quote a $ or € rate. Anyway, the article says that the organisers spent £1M on dollars and euros in 2018 to pay foreign artists, which indicates people have been quoting in $ and € all along, and aren't suddenly doing it because of Brexit. What's changed is that the organisers did this last year to protect themselves from going wildly over budget due to currency fluctuations, and may do it again this year - but it's expensive, so they're not sure they can keep doing it.Down with racism.
