    Nice.
Ok, as you're obviously looking for the full half-hour argument.

The Scottish Referendum Act of 2013 set a specific date in 2014 for the Scottish Referendum to occur. That event is over, done, dusted, accepted by all.

A new act would have to be in place for another referendum.

Do you see now how it works?

Did the Act say that no repeat of referendum will happen on same question for X years?

      I thought not

It didn't have to, the act was in place for a specific date.

Anyway, have you heard the good news?

So the SNP government can pass another Scottish referendum Act. They have the majority.

The UK government can at best delay approval. It will happen sooner or later unless the SNP are voted out.
          I'm alright Jack

Of course they can. Fill the correct forms in, go through the relevant processes, get the requisite agreements.

What do you think would happen if the vote went against leaving the UK again?

That would be the end of it. Quebec had two independence referendums, but installing Boris as PM has made it an almost cert.

                That's an interesting opinion.
