So the people decided that at the very least we need to ensure that as far as possible we need to ensure our destiny is in our hands - and not the hands of 27 other nations with conflicting interests and priorities.
What everyone who voted to leave did know was that the EU would make it as difficult as possible for us to leave and would do everything in their power to ensure it looked like Britain would fail - and that is a prediction that has clearly and unfortunately come true.
