Yay, another independent to split the “non-Farage” vote. This is going better for Farage than even he thought.Comment

The last 3 years has confirmed what they thought. Therir vote is wasted.

News flash: unless the only thing you want your politicians to focus on is Brexit, then a vote for Nigel is also wasted. He has no other policies and doesn’t turn up to EP.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostMany people feel cut off from politicians. They pasy themselves a fortune and live the high life.

Edit: should also add, an undefined, “perfect” imaginary Brexit. Farage of course has no written detail on what Brexit should look like or the impact analysis on sectors, he just knows how to moan and complain without any actual plan.Last edited by meridian; 21 April 2019, 11:13.Comment

His Brexit is to leave with no deal and see how we go. Which is preferable to the current can kicking.Originally posted by meridian View PostNews flash: unless the only thing you want your politicians to focus on is Brexit, then a vote for Nigel is also wasted. You and I dislike Nigel/Nelson. However many people agree with him.
He has sought to represent the common person against the government and the government has let him. Such circumstances can lead to a Hitler or Mandela getting to power.Comment

You and he may think it’s preferable, but it solves nothing. It’s a lazy way out that doesn’t require thinking through the impacts, and just means that Farage can spend the next 10 years complaining about EU bullies not giving in to the UK.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostHis Brexit is to leave with no deal and see how we go. Although he claims to represent the common person, in truth he represents nobody but himself. A representative would have turned up in the European Parliament more often than not.Comment
