    Brexit is good

For some: The $16m New York penthouse fit for a UK civil servant | Politics | The Guardian
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

The Brexit gravy train in full swing. Brexiteer MP's have their eye on the post Brexit spoils in the Civil service and private hedge funds.

...and meanwhile their supporters payed £50 for the privilege of going on a march. That would have been a real money spinner if several hundred thousand had turned up.

    I'm alright Jack

Should make a nice profit when the time comes to sell it (I wonder if the FCO will have to pay CGT). Would you prefer it if he lived in a hotel for several years?

Property prices go up, property prices go down...

Property prices may well go down (although NY tends to bend that rule). The price of that particular apartment would have to fall like a block of concrete to make it less viable than paying for a hotel room for several years.
It's nice to see HMG are starting to think savvy, and it's long overdue.
