Many other countries did get Marshall aid as well, not only Germany, so two lies in one tweet

That's right, the UK was the biggest recipient. But let's not forget after the war Britain still had a huge army, navy etc, even though we won the war we lost. We could no longer support such a large force. The empire was lost along with the revenue.

Industry needed to modernise but it didn't, so we quickly spent the loan from the US.

You should also remember that there was a choice, when Britain could have ignored Germany. It could have carved the world up, with Britain dominating the oceans and Germany controlling Europe and Russia. But Britain didn't. It spent it's treasure, empire and millions of young men and women to defend the world.

The fact you can spout such crap on a forum like this is because someone bigger, better than you did something immeasurably important.

Would this be the Poland that was betrayed by Britain (and the US) and given over to the Soviet Union at Yalta?

Frankly, I amazed that the Poles have anything to do with us.
