In my opinion, in the last 2 years the EU parliament has proved way better than the UK model. The UK model is no longer fit for purpose.

Just for a start, referedums need to be banned. It has split the country. Short of getting Charlie Brooker to do a Bandersnatch Brexit, people will be divided for a long while.

CUK will always be divided though.

The EU doesn't have the power to interfere in the Catalonia question. Personally I think an independence referendum should take place. But I also think it is none of the EU's business.

But it is perfectly happy to voice its opinion on the current Venezuela question.

So from all of this we take the following. the EU has no interest in what is happening within one of its member states, but when it comes to one outside of the EU it suddenly finds its voice. Do you not think this is a bit hypocritical.

The UK may be in a bad way, but it's got a long way to go before it's as dysfunctional as the US - no matter who is president. It's the US that could benefit from Brenda ruling direct.
