                The WTO, as the EU is recognised as a trading block and the UK would have reneged on its commitments as part of that trading block. That might mean the EU would be allowed to charge punitive tariffs but the UK couldn't respond.

                The Brexiteers keep banging on about the WTO but I suspect they will fall out with it before too long.

                  They’ll cry, and huff a bit.

                  And then one of the member states will veto any trade agreement we try to negotiate.

                  We seem to be forgetting that exiting the EU is not the end, it’s only the beginning of a long process, and we’re burning as many bridges as we can to get to 29 March without realising that we need to cross those same bridges many times more in the next few years.
