It doesn't The Earth revolves around the Sun. The Sun does not 'rise' in the morning. That is just the perspective when viewed from any location on the Earth and an effect of the earth revolving on its axis as it rotates around the Sun. The duration which the sun illuminates a particular location on the planet, we call Earth, is related to the 'wobble' of the earth on its axis.Comment
