    Let them drive Dyson...

FTFY not having any of that foreign muck if we can't have British named, foreign owned gas guzzlers.

Highlighted the real reason for you. Jags just aren't Jags anymore, they are just expensive rebodied Mondeos. The Big Blue Oval has taken Jaguar in the wrong direction and away from the out and out luxury market for which it was known. But hey-ho Brexit is just too convenient a tag for senior management to hide their incompetence behind just now.

I must admit, I did wonder what this was doing here until I saw who the OP was.

A massive slump in diesel sales isn't helping them, along with clear perception that it's now an Indian company.

Tut tut. Talking down the British manufacturing base.

Brexit is a small reason here. They have built a plant in Slovakia which has now fully come on line so production was always going to be wound down here. Plus great big dirty diesel engines are not in vogue anymore and they are also way behind in there electric tech.

Which is pretty much irrelevant to workers trying to make a living in the company.

JLR hasn't been part of Ford since 2008

EDIT: although I note that TATA also has a blue oval logo, so maybe you're not an idiot.
