Any time an intelligent discussion has been started, it gets derailed by those who are only interested in insulting and have little interest in debating.

Over 2 years have passed since the vote. “We” haven’t left and “we” haven’t done anything to sort out what we would actually do about important parts of life outside the EU. E.g. Open Skies, EurAtom, Irish Border, etc.
If you’d care to discuss those in a civil manner, you might find there are others on here who will too. But if you’re going to claim that one side can only ever resort to insults rather than reasoned argument and discussion, you may as well say that everything wrong with the world is the fault of those who voted for remain, the EU and all foreigners.

Why would you think that? That’s a very good question.
Is it because it’s easier than accepting responsibility for your own choices?
Is it because working with others requires compromise and listening?
Is it because in the 1800s, there was the British Empire?

There could be many reasons. Perhaps ask other Brexit supporters why they believe it, if you’re not sure yourself.

Are ALL Brexit supporters rude? No
Are they all more rude than all remain supporters? No
Are they all less capable of conducting an intelligent debate, instead choosing to attack posters by taking sentences out of context? No

Since your responses have been about attacking the individual, not the topic, then that might explain why debating is difficult.

We (The UK) are part of the EU, and we had appointed an elected representative to sit on the fisheries commission. Is the reason why you feel the UK has been screwed over in any way related to our representative not turning up, not entering into discussions and not negotiating in our best interests? It’s almost a metaphor for something else, where the people who claim to want what’s best for the UK didn’t turn up to run for PM, didn’t get involved in negotiations and do not have the UK’s best interests at heart, but are happy to blame the EU for everything.



You also complain about others not providing supporting evidence, but when a link is provided to a government document, you claim that it is lies, while failing to provide any supporting evidence to your claim.

Just in case you cannot comprehend the section in bold, as it was written in a direct response to me, implies that I think everything in the fault of all foreigners. Thereby implying that I am racist by implication. The statement, as it was posted with my name attached is libellous. The mods on here clearly do not know when a poster has overstepped the mark nor do they have the backbone to take action.

You may have got your moderator friend to delete the post for you but they didn't do a very good job and the evidence still exists.

It is a shame that in this day and age of wide spread abuse on social media that this forum of so call professionals takes the same view that it is OK to abuse another person whilst hiding behind anonymity. If you want to verbally abuse me/slander me in future please have the backbone to at least do it to my face.
