They just don't get it do they, PosterMcBhoy?Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostYou really have a burning need for everything to be laid out in the simplest possible terms for you don't you?
You have to realize that most people don't have your big picture perspective.
They mistakenly get confused when no deal = not no deal.
I guess you sometimes get frustrated but like many things it'll probably be alright in 50 years.

Hmmm. So now the French want unfetted access to our fishing waters and Spain want minimum of joint sovereignty over Gib. I think the French and the Spanish have just put the final nails in the coffin of this deal.
Just what is this deal delivering?Comment

More importantly Britain needs to solve its problem with knife crime and moped attacks. Probably the whole Brexit process should be put on ice until these issues have been resolved.I'm alright JackComment

Not entirely true. I don't think the fishermen of this country voted to leave the EU to regain control of our fishing waters only to let the EU back in via the back door.Originally posted by WTFH View PostWhat 52% of the UK voters wanted.Comment

That wasn't on the ballot, was it?
The bit that was on was about leaving the EU. That's what this deal does, that's what 52% of the voters voted for.
Taking back control, etc, was just marketing speak for ideas of maybe where the country might go, if the politicians and media who supported Brexit had actually had any desire/spine to deliver it. But when given the chance to run the Tory party, they ran away, so they could start their blame campaign again.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

The fact that Greenland which left the EU 30 years ago has its fishing quotas set by the EU should have been a hint.I'm alright JackComment
