'Loneliness is my friend': Moving images capture the isolation of elderly villagers living in tiny settlements of less than ten people in the Portuguese countryside
- Photographs show people living in isolation in the remote villages of the Portuguese region, Tras os Montes
- Portuguese photographer Ricardo Ramos travelled to the isolated region to explore the lives of lonely people
- Many of the villages had limited or no access to technology and some had populations of under ten villagers
Ass did move to Lisbon but apparently there are now less than 10 people living there!
