But hat is a discussion for another thread.

I suspect that the real problem is salary, working hours, working conditions, etc. I'm all in favour of giving nurses a better deal financially.
British nurses are amongst the best paid in the world, only a handful of countries pay better. They should stop complaining as their salaries already cripple the NHS budget.

Don't bring facts into the discussion.
vetran's friends have told him that some hospitals are undercutting nurses pay by paying less for EU staff.

Of course post-Brexit nurses pay will rise hugely because of all the money that will be sloshing around.

      Hard Brexit now!

Why only leap on the easy target of pay. What would you propose to solve the problem of working hours?

Post Brexit I suggest nurses work from 10 am to 1 pm.
Then they can gome home (picking the plentiful gold coins from the gold trees as they go) and relax while the unicorns take over.

Working hours are harsh for any nurse anywhere in the world so again nothing to complain about , it comes with the profession

as we raid the world for pre trained nurses and don't train our own because taking nurses from abroad is cheaper then my comment stands. Sorry if you find it confusing.

So you agree that the working hours are harsh and that it is nothing to complain about. Just because it is the norm doesn't make it right.

So why are the NHS so desperately advertising nurse training? Studying nursing | Health Careers

Could it be that the pre-education to GCSE and A-levels in Britain sucks and not enough people are educated to standards?

No it's because 'celebrity ' is view as a career option.
