Say goodbye to nice retirement in Spain and Portugal, and hello to Blackpool and Brighton

Owning a house in France or elsewhere won’t give right to stay resident in that country (and possibly even own property in the first place)

Not sure if I am misunderstanding our offering but my understanding was the UK government was offering all EU citizens resident in the UK before the vote a right apply to remain. Then after that EU citizens are treated like any other visitor and apply for a visa.

So if we apply the same criteria to non resident EU citizens as we do to other nations we are being discriminatory?

When we leave the club other members of the club still want access to our territory as if we were still in the club? They still want rights to one if the family homes after the divorce? They want to take Shauny home without even buying a drink first? Anyone else smell cherry pie???

You are are also ignorant of history. If you want to talk about surrender, then how about the Channel Islands where the police and officials cooperated with the SS. How about the British in Jersey reporting escaped POWs?

How about the UK aristocracy making arrangements with the Germans in order to keep their position and wealth if the UK were occupied?

How young and old would vote on Brexit now - BBC News

If there were to be a second referendum now, 52% would vote Remain and 48% Leave, an average of polls over the past three months suggests.
Assuming the skill they posses is to work for less money (the majority of EU workers I have seen have been in low paid jobs). We did have a few "Vortuguese" (Venezuelans with Portuguese grandparents like the Irish) in higher paid jobs. Then yes the 18-24's voting remain will really appreciate being undercut.

here's the beeb being forced to admit it and try to put a spin on it,

Reality Check: Do foreign workers take jobs and cut wages? - BBC News

It found that the area in which there had been the greatest effect on wages had been for semi-skilled and unskilled workers in the services sector, where a 10 percentage point increase in the proportion of immigrants working in the sector would be associated with a 1.88% reduction in pay.
Of course wages haven't risen appreciably because there are cheap staff out there, this is just talking about wages falling due to oversupply.

Don't mind Shauny. He received a head injury after heavy fighting when he tried to serve 3rd Company corned beef fritters three nights running.

He's forgotten about the Fall of Singapore among other large scale British capitulations.

You mean the channel islands we abandoned, of course they should have fought the Nazis with their last cup of tea & scone.

Sorry how about the IRA and the Germans?

That's not losing. It's the victory lap.
