Really? It's uber-liberal to think a colonial power is responsible for what happens in it's colonies?
That seems to be a key plank of the Brexiter mindset - don't take any responsibility for your actions or lack thereof, simply blame someone or something else.
I suppose it won't be your fault when Brexit chaos occurs, either.
    Hard Brexit now!

Spare us your bleeding heart platitudes. You are about as sincere as a Jezza manifesto pledge.

If you must then ponder the fact that we are "responsible" for having spawned (in India) probably the largest democracy in the world with well-established education and justice systems, and an extensive rail infrastructure network to mention just a few legacy items.

Of course I doubt that fits your narrow bitter narrative.

Education system? The Indian education system is crap, the British one is rapidly catching up in terms of uselessness. The only world class Indian educational institutions are the 6 or 7 IITs, which were created after independence and modelled on MIT, the Indians already realising that the US system was superior.
The rail network? Obviously if you're exploiting a country you need to build a transport system to get the stuff to the ports.

You really are a prize dumbkopf of truly cosmic proportions.
Like all the forelock-tugging, cap-doffing working class you believe all the myths spouted by your supposed betters, the latest manifestation of which is that you have, in effect, yet again, voted to put their interests in front of yours.
