I don't see why there should be a second referendum or people's vote. The first was quite specific, stay in or leave therefore people knew what they were voting for“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -

That piece just shows how naive and deluded Brexiters were to begin with.
We hoped that we could trust the Government to do the job they had been instructed to do by the British people.
People knew what they were voting for.

If there were another referendum and remain won, could you imagine what would happen? The UK would fall into bed more deeply than before, we'd join the euro for sure and Corbyn would be 'installed' as president.
Ahh calm down. The truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.Last edited by scooterscot; 17 August 2018, 16:11."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

WE ARE LEAVING THE EU - FFS GET OVER IT!Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostMy gut feel is there will be an eleventh hour capitulation by Mays govt to the EU with the softest Brexit imaginable. The pound will rocket when it is announced. It will basically be "staying in the EU" in all but name.Hard Brexit now!
